Su Jen Chua
Dr. Su Jen Chua is a Consultant Nephrologist and Obstetric Medicine Physician practicing in Melbourne. Following an Obstetric Medicine Fellowship at Mercy Hospital for Women, she is now undertaking a PhD at the University of Melbourne funded by an NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship, while also completing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at Harvard University. Her research utilizes advanced causal inference methods and registry linkage to optimize maternal, fetal, and graft outcomes in women with kidney disease and renal transplants. Her work in obstetric nephrology has been recognized with top honors from SOMANZ (Claire McLintock Memorial Award), Transplantation Society of Australia & New Zealand Early Career Award, and the World Congress of Nephrology.
